Since last March of a set of parts Origlam origami by decorating the restaurant Blanch the Mandarin Hotel Barcelona in tribute to victims of tsunami, earthquake and nuclear catastrophe in Japan as an expression of affection and kindness towards our Asian guests city.
The Restaurant Blanch is defined as "a Mediterranean brasserie with Asian influences." Decorated the Mandarin Hotel for the wonderful English designer Patricia Urquiola , its opening marked one of the highlights from the world of decoration in Spain last year. And their spaces have become a landmark of refined style and transparent, sensual and warm breathing Barcelona.
My origami pieces seek to harmonize in texture, color and abstraction Urquiola's own proposal for the space. Kusudama in different sizes that replicate the zenith of cutting edge living and lattice cranes out of scale for customizing tables. Natural roles in cool colors and sleek and sophisticated as carpets and upholstery in the room.
to Asia in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bJapan, in the heart.
